More prompt notifications on when downtime will happen
I received no type of push notification about a necessary downtime today affecting my entire network. I was expected to look at a little bell in the panel (which all of my team, 4 people, didn’t know to check)
I believe when you are going to offer a service with a guarantee of uptime, you need to push notifications out to your customers about any required downtime. I understand downtime is required sometimes but to get 0 notification, not even an email, about such downtime is unacceptable. I will be pursuing an alternative for hosting moving forward.
Respectfully,
Rylan

Hi there,
We apologize for the inconvenience. We’ve been working on improving the process, the incident pushing notifications to the panel was one of the new ways we’ve been working on to inform clients of critical things, we have historically done email campaigns which typically gets ignored so we wanted to have multiple ways of ensuring an important message being seen.
I believe we did have an email queued up, but a process failure occurred preventing the email sending, this has been corrected. I would like to say we have a pretty good history of giving clients early warning about maintenances and the failure here was not acceptable. If you’d like you can make a ticket, and we can assist you further regarding the issue.
We’re sorry to see you go.
