I just want to say that this is the best minecraft host ive ever used really good hardware for affordable prices and the free backups ate just the cherry on top
in a world of ai junk companies flooding the internet with scummy techniques to steal your money, ultra servers is a breath of fresh air, being affordable at $1/gb/mo, and having actual humans in their server. love the service keep it up xx
I’m a newb with zero idea how to make a server and I kept crashing my imported world. It took minutes for support for respond to my ticket and they sorted me out in no time. Low price. good kit. so knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you :)
I’d like to know if this Pumpkin Server Software is able to get added as one of Minecraft server software version option? https://pumpkinmc.org/ https://github.com/Pumpkin-MC/Pumpkin/issues Though still in early development since last year
Instead of saying “delete this file” in the confirm prompt, say “delete file.extention”. It will minimize accidental deletions and is overall better
I just encountered an issue on an ark server (probably related to others as well) Let’s play a game called “find the documentation.” Is it easily visible when i look at the error in the console? Doesnt seem so. Is it in the account page? No. Is it in the side menu where I find other game-related things? No Maybe it’s in the settings page? No. Maybe I need to go to the home page? Almost. It’s actually in the Learn dropdown menu. This is how I actually went about finding the documentation. I migtve missde the obvious way of getting there. Putting the documentation front and center helps the user find information without needing to go to support first.
The experience when picking a plan could be improved. I understand that I’m getting player slots, but I’d love to see storage capacity, RAM, and CPU core information. Please provide at least some information about what I’m purchasing. If unlimited disk space is included, add it along with your support. Here’s an example that isn’t perfect, but at least helps people feel like they’re not buying a mystery server. (obviously also related to https://feedback.ultraservers.com/p/add-map-support-information-to-hosting-plans )
I understand this doesn’t actually mean anything, but many normies find IP addresses scary. Maybe consider leaving the IP out of the message entirely?
Problem Current hosting plans don't show which maps are supported for each tier. Users wanting to play specific maps (like Extinction) can't determine which plan to buy, and player count limits appear arbitrary without context. Technical Justification Different ARK maps have different RAM requirements : Basic maps (The Island, Scorched Earth): 8-12 GB Medium maps (The Center, Aberration, Valguero, Fjördur): 10-14 GB High-end maps (Ragnarok, Extinction, Genesis): 12-16 GB Solution Add a "Supported Maps" section to each plan listing all available maps and any restrictions. This would help users choose plans based on desired content and justify pricing tiers with actual technical requirements. Benefits Clear plan selection based on map preferences Transparent, technically-justified pricing tiers Reduced support inquiries about compatibility Better user experience and satisfaction
This feedback site doesn’t seem to be updated often. I have possible suggestions: - Move it to Discord since it’s is where everyone’s most active - Add more people to monitor, respond, and update this site
The menu that pops up from clicking on the 3 dots on a while has good options but could use some reordering or should just display the entire thing in one window. Deleting and renaming are at the bottom when they are 2 quite common actions, in itself this isnt an issue, but the fact we have to scroll down to find it is pretty annoying When you have more than 3 servers it is very unclear where the server went, and then i have to find the place where i can either switch pages or enable more than 3 servers per page. I would much rather prefer if the page would dynamically load in the server names (clickable) and then the status of thiese servers in that order, this way i can at a glance see all the servers and at the same time view the status of thiese. If for some reason some status of the server takes a bit to load in i can always just click on it to manage it directly. When uploading a file/folder the menu that something has been uploaded does not go away, and it also prevents me from uploading another file until the page has been refreshed.
Moved that feedback here as requested by the response to a support ticket that I submitted earlier. First of all, the support was very fast and I'm very grateful for that: it was stressful for me to receive an invoice that I didn't know why it was sent to me. So, this invoice! I had registered to the website months ago to try and make a Minecraft server for my friends and I. We don't make professional servers, we were just here for the fun and played occasionally. This was during alpha, and the servers seemed to be marketed as free to use. In the end, it was not exactly what we were looking for, so I left the server untouched and never used it again. This morning, surprise! I received an invoice for a plan I didn't know I subscribed to. Now, this was in fact the transition from alpha to beta: which I can't blame: servers are expensive. But it didn't say anything else than oh, you need to pay before (due date). This was scary. So I deleted the server, and contacted support: they told me that they couldn't bill me anyways and that I could either wait for it to expire or cancel it myself, since I hadn't, indeed, subscribed to a paid plan. My feedback is to, maybe, warn the users when pricing changes happen (by email, preferably) and also for invoices like the one I got, do include the response that I got from support in it (Saying you haven't subscribed so you won't be billed, the server will just stop, and / or instructions to cancel) although since the servers are fully paid now this shouldn't happen as much. Again thank you very much to whoever runs support, they were very nice and fast to respond to me, in a very clear manner.
I just want to post this here, but so far the service has been nothing but great! I look foward to being able to use this host with more resources in the future once beta releases :D
My friend TheWeirdCoder showed me the website and I am blown away by how affordable the hosting is. The website and dashboard are easy to navigate and are very smooth. I had some questions to ask, and I joined the discord where the staff answered my questions thoroughly and quickly. Will 100 percent be changing to this plan. Repost so it’s not anonymous. -mango_os on discord, Sekkar on the ultra servers website
This dashboard for this is truely amazing! It's simple, sleek, and gives useful information! My only gripe is that it occassionally takes awhile to load but its fine! I give this dashboard a 9/10 -TheWeirdCoder

deleting trashed items leaves a trashed file in the files, taking up space, and you cant ese it unless you use an FTP software, if possible, delete the trashed file when cleaning the trash can?
